Interesting insights: An interview with Richard Gresek, the founder and CEO of Plus.line AG

Mr. Gresek, You are looking for new employees?

Yes indeed, Plus.line is growing continuously. We have more and more new clients and correspondingly we need new staff.

Could you name some of the reasons why potential employees should come to Plus.line AG?

We have high standards. We are a technology-driven enterprise offering a fascinating environment and exciting tasks. Our employees deal with large and renowned clients on a partnership basis. This direct contact with the client is very rewarding for the employee and above all, it's quite simply fun.

Are employees allowed to take over responsibility here?

Most definitely. Employees can assume responsibility in our company at a very early stage. We are a relatively small provider – but we serve many large enterprises. Due to the fact that the services which we provide are so individual for each client, it is most important for our employees to take on responsibility, make their own decisions and act upon their own sense of responsibility.

You are the founder and company CEO. Are you still here regularly?

We are not a large enterprise and we all sit together in one building. My own office is right in the middle, the door is open and I am there every day. Employees therefore have the opportunity to speak to me quite spontaneously.

You yourself have a technical training. Where is the advantage for your employees there?

The company is technology-driven. Employees in IT will find that their seniors are understanding and want eye-to-eye dialogue. The important factor here is that, from the very beginning, we have relied and continue to rely on software from the Unix/Linux environment. In our production – and also in our offices –  we not use Windows products. We are absolutely convinced of this and – I would almost say – without compromises.

What does the future hold?

Plus.line AG will continue to expand – and increasingly internationally. We shall in future remain an owner-led company. That means that employees will continue to be directly responsible for clients and immersed in the processes.

Is there anything you would like to say to applicants?

I look forward to applications from persons with character and a cutting edge. From people who want to identify themselves with our down-to-earth values but who, at the same time, take pleasure in flying high.
